Temperature:
Corfu has a warm Mediterranean climate. The summer is very hot, especially in July & August and the temperature can go up to 39oC on the hottest days. The Island can be stiflingly hot, so visitors should allow time to acclimatise. The evenings are cooler.

The winter is mild, as the temperature never drops very low, even in January. It rarely snows, while rainstorms are more frequent. November to March is the rainy season.
